In the United States the Washington State International Kite Festival is the large in North America. Held the third weekend in August it has been drawing more than 100,000 attendees annually since 1981. The annual Kites over Lake Michigan is the largest kite festival in the Midwest. The two-day event is held at Two Rivers High School in Two Rivers Wisconsin at the end up summer. Enjoy kite shows, stunts and more.
