The AuSable High Banks Overlook

Northeast Michigan offers several beautiful scenic overlooks where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Here are some notable spots to visit:

  1. Old Presque Isle Lighthouse: Located near Presque Isle, this historic lighthouse offers a stunning view of Lake Huron and the surrounding area. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse for a panoramic vista.

  3. Huron-Manistee National Forest: Northeast Michigan is home to parts of the Huron-Manistee National Forest, which offers numerous scenic spots. The Huron-Manistee National Forests are two separate national forests. The Huron National Forest and the Manistee National Forest. They were combined in 1945 for administrative purposes.   5. Negwegon State Park: Situated near Alpena, this secluded park offers rugged trails that lead to unspoiled, sandy beaches.
