With so many breweries in the state you can bet that the Upper Peninsula has been there from the beginning. In the Western Upper Peninsula you will find breweries that have been around for 20+ years and others that are only a year or 2 old. Cold Iron Brewing
Cold Iron Brewing is located near the border of Michigan and Wisconsin in downtown Ironwood. Brewed on site in small batches. They offer 9 taps of rotating styles including hard seltzer options. They have light snacks and allow food to be brought in or delivered. Their outdoor patio is leash dog friendly.
Brickside Brewery
Brickside Brewery is in Copper Harbor, a scenic town in the Keweenaw Peninsula. They specialize in brewing small-batch craft beers and offer a rotating selection of seasonal and limited-release brews. There is a food truck on the property.
Red Jacket Brewing Company
Situated in Calumet, Michigan House Cafe & Red Jacket Brewing Company offers a selection of craft beers in a 110-year-old building. The Michigan House Café and Red Jacket Brewing. They have a full bar and meu as well as limited lodging available.
Keweenaw Brewing Company
Keweenaw Brewing Company, located in Houghton, is a well-established brewery in the region. They produce a variety of craft beers, including their popular Widowmaker Black Ale and Red Jacket Amber Ale. They allow outside food and many local restaurants will deliver to their door.
Copper Country Brewery/The Library Pub
Copper Country Brewery in Houghton recently changed its name in honor of the region they are in. They offer a full bar and menu.
Alpha Michigan Brewing Company
Alpha Michigan Brewing Company (AMBC) located in Alpha, the smallest village in America with a brewery. They have light snacks and outside food is allowed. Brothers Grill Food Truck is also a fixture at the brewery.
Three Bridge Brewing Company
Three Bridge Brewing Company is a nanobrewery in Menominee. They are a husband-and-wife operation. They pride themselves on their small batch, grain to glass production.
